Quantifying hair loss
The expert system Trichoscan has been developed for digitally quantifying hair growth and hair loss. As opposed to the traditional Trichogram, the application is completely painless, without plugging hair!
Trichoscan automatically calculates the number of hairs, hair density and anagen/telogen ratio. Number and density of vellus and terminal hairs are determined as well. A score indicates the state of the art of the hair situation.
