Fluorescence diagnosis (FD)
luorescence diagnosis (FD) is a proven method for detection, localisation and therapy control of actinic keratoses, basal cell carcinomas etc. You can perfectly combine it with photodynamic therapy (PDT) or surgery.
With the FotoFinder FD lens, you can easily integrate FD in your practice workflow. You neither need to darken the room nor to use a Wood’s lamp! Just put the FD lens on the camera and start the examination. White and blue LED lights make it possible to take first a clinical and then a fluorescence image. Both of them are stored in the database. Thanks to the blue light and the photosensitizer, the extension of the lesion can be clearly seen even if it is hardly visible in the clinical image! more >>
